Cancellation policy
Cancellation should be made 7 days before the date of arrival, in which case the stay will be charged for 50% of your stay. Cancellations before 3 nights on the day of arrival will be charged for the whole duration of the intended stay.

Bed & Breakfast Alex The Flying Chef is a new bed breakfast hotel facility and has recently opened it's doors. Situated in a large house dating from the 19th century, it has well appointed rooms, each with it's own character. Your host bought the house in 2006. It has been entirely renovated. The house is ideally situated in a quiet street for you to enjoy a restful and comfortable stay in this fascinating city of Amsterdam, with it's many facets and charms. Wether you want to go to the Hermitage, Van Gogh or Rijksmuseum or visiting a convention at the RAI, Alexandra will try to ensure that you enjoy your stay with their personal attention to detail. We will hope hat our efforts will meet your requirements.

Directions

Amsterdam Central Station

Tram Line 9 (15 minutes) or bus 22 stop
Pretoriusstraat / Linnaeusstraat. Walk with you back to a small mall called. The road on the high side of the water is Transvaalkade. After 100 meter on your right hand you are in No 26.
Metro: Line 54 stops at Amstel Station. See further description below.

Amsterdam Amstel Station
- Walking (takes 15 minutes): Go to the main exit of the station and head towards the roundabout and cross over to the building of restaurant Dauphine / Financial newspaper. Turn the corner and follow the Wibautstraat for 30 meter. Cross the zebra Wibautstraat on through and you will see the water from the dike. On your left is the Transvaalstraat. Our property is after 300 meter on your left.

Schiphol airport
Taxi from Schiphol airport will take 20 minutes and should cost around 45-50 Euro. Or take a train to central station and use metro or tram.
