Day02:SIGHTSEEING
AM:Visit Sera Monastery PM: Jokhang Temple & Barkhor street
Sera is the second biggest Gelupa Monastery in the north suburb of Lhasa, which was built in 1419 by Tsongapa's disciple Sakya-yeshi. Situated at the heart of the oldest section of the Lhasa city, Jokhang, one of the oldest temples in Tibet, was built in the 7th century by the 33rd king Sontsanganbu. Barkor is the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang temple.
Day03:AM:Visit Potala Palace PM:Drepung Monastery & Norbulingka Palace
Potala was the winter palace of the Dalailama, which was originally built in the 7th century by the king Sotsen Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai lama in the 17th century. Built in the mid-18th century by the 7th Dalailama, Norbulingka, the Jewel Park was the Dalai lama's summer palace, it covers 100 acres with palaces, pavilions and a zoo.
Drepung monastery built in 1416 by Tsongapa's disciple Jamyang-choje, Drepung Monastery is the biggest Gelupa monastery in the west suburb of Lhasa.
Day04:LHASA TO NAMU CUO LAKE
visit Namucuo mountain lake, spent one night near the lake
Day05:DRIVE TO GANDEN MONASTERY
Ganden Monastery, 45 km east of Lhasa, was first built in 1409. At least 10 buildings have been restored, and the monastery looks splendid with barley fields sprawling the valley floor, which is dotted with small villages. It takes 4 days to walk from the Ganden to Samye, and this is one of the finest soft treks in central Tibet,Order the yak and yak men for next day O/H Camp
Day06-09:TREK
trekking to Hebu Nomad Camp 7hrs O/H Camp then to Shugula Pass 8hrs O/H Camp, to Under Chutula Pass 7hrs O/H Camp,trek to Yamalung Valley and By Tractor to Samye Monastery 7hrs ,Walk to the Samye Monastery and By truck to Chimpu,Trek to Mount.Heburi stay in O/H Yarlong Hotel.
Day10:DRIVE TO AIRPORT
Have the breakfast very ealry in the morning and drive to aiport,Fly out
