Surrounding Area

Wild and rugged Connemara is one of the last unspoilt areas of Europe. From Cleggan harbour you can fish in some of the best fishing grounds or you can catch the ferry to the beautiful island of Inishbofin. You may prefer to go horse riding at the local riding centre or perhaps play around of golf at Ballyconneely. Nearby you can learn about the flora and fauna of Connemara's unique landscape at Connemara National Park and climb one of the Twelve Bens. If you prefer something less strenous you can ramble for miles on almost deserted beaches or on quiet country lanes.

Accommodations

Our home is situated close to a quiet sandy beach. Two of the bedrooms have sea views. If you have your laptop complimentary wi-fi is available in the bedrooms. There is a turf fire in the lounge and you can enjoy a hearty and varied breakfast in the morning.

Rooms/Suites

We have 4 bedrooms for guests use. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities. Three of the rooms have a double bed and the fourth has a double bed and a single bed. All of the bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities.

Amenities

Cleggan village has a restaurant and four pubs.
Traditional Irish music in the pubs some nights.

We are open for bed and breakfast from May 1st-September 30th.
Our prices start at 30 euro per person sharing per night.
Single prices start at 45 euro per person.

Directions

From Galway take the N59 to Clifden. Continue on the N59 for 4km and you will see a sign for Cleggan on your left. Go straight through the village for 1km and you will see the sign for Cnoc Breac on your left. Just follow the signs.
