Just a short stroll down the road is the fishing village of Downings. Situated on a beautiful beach, its sandy shores ideal for children and where caves and rock pools are just waiting to be explored.

Down at the local pub rugged faced men, with a boyish twinkle in their eyes, tell stories and relate folklore over a pint with such ease that time itself might well stand still. Where traditional music can stir the blood and the craic can be mighty and continue late into the night

Rooms/Suites

Classic rooms
Comfortable ensuite rooms with tv, direct dial ‘phones, iron, hairdryer and 'fridge. Ground floor rooms available for Donegal accommodation.

Deluxe Rooms
The Deluxe have the same facilities as the classic rooms but are larger. Most of the Deluxe rooms have a view across the beach to Sheephaven Bay.

Junior Suites
The Junior Suites are spacious rooms with either King size beds or 2 x 4’ 6” beds. There is a well defined sitting area, dressing room with ‘fridge and safe. The bathroom has a bath and large walk in shower. Again, most of these guest rooms enjoy a view across the beach to Sheephaven Bay.

Senior Suite
The senior suite has one bedroom with a king size bed and a large sitting room with dining table and fireplace. The Senior Suite is the ultimate in elegant country living.

Amenities

There's plenty more besides, you can take to the tennis court, relax over a game of snooker, arrange a soothing body massage or go pony trekking. The waters in the area are famous amongst the water sports enthusiasts and fishing trips in the locality can be arranged as well as supervised dives with our new local dive centre.

Plus, with two beautiful beaches close by there is plenty of opportunity to take the air.

An indoor pool, whirlpool and steam room, are the latest addition to the Hotels features. Small conference facilities are available. It's all here - the choice is yours

GETTING THERE BY AIR The airports at Belfast, Dublin, Knock and Shannon all provide International flights from a wide range of worldwide destinations. Donegal and City of Derry airports are both approximately a 90 minute drive from Rosapenna and offer flights from Dublin and Great Britain. Car hire is available at all these airports.
