The Bottle Houses have become a not to be missed tourist attraction located on the North Cape Coastal Drive in the western part of Prince Edward Island. Visitors to the site receive a "Message in a bottle" that guides them in their tour of the houses and gardens, providing information on the history of the attraction as well as relevant information on the site. Visitors can spend as much time as they want on the site. A very interesting gift shop is also on the premises, featuring lots of glass and garden themed items, as well as sand souvenirs, local crafts and PEI souvenirs.

The Bottle Houses are located in the midst of the Acadian Evangeline Region where music and culture is the essence of the population. Several festivals and musical events throughout the summer season often become other highlights of visitors to this area.
Age range, type of group
The Bottle Houses appeal to people of all ages. Youngsters are amazed at the whimsical feeling the houses provide. Adults and seniors are impressed by what one can do with objects that are usually discarded. Site is an inspiration to anyone who dreams of accomplishing something different.

Sleeping and meals
The Bottle Houses are only half a kilometre away from a campground. Several B&B's, cottages and eating establishments are also available in the area.
Policies & Restrictions
Smoking is not allowed on the grounds of The Bottle Houses as site is an environmentally friendly spot. Only pets that can be carried in one's arms are allowed on the grounds.
Rates
Rates for 2010: $6 per adult; $5.50 seniors and adult students; $2 children aged 6 to 16; preschoolers are free. Family rate of $15 (limit of 2 adults).

Discounts are offered to groups of 15 or more. Reservations recommended.
