Kinkora, Prince Edward Island Artisan & Trade Workshops
First we'll show you around our production pottery studio and explain the processes and steps of making pottery. You may even see some pieces being thrown or trimmed on the potters wheel. Then you'll go back to the Class area wher we'll give you a quick handbuilding demonstration. Once everyone in your group is comfortable enough to try it on their own, we set you loose to get your hands dirty and explore your own creativity. During the days and weeks following your Play in Clay workshop we lovingly finish the process by drying, firing and glazing your creative works as if they were one of our our pieces. The finished product is ready for pickup or shipping in 4 to 6 weeks.
We find anyone from 6 to 86 can easily learn to create a wonderful piece of pottery. Single folks are welcome, couples can meet new friends, social groups can enjoy an evening out together, or families of any size can come and have some wholesome fun !
Pets are welcome ! We've got a shady tree out the side where they'll be safe and sound.
