Desired Haven is located right on the Northumberland Strait of PEI's south shore on Route 19 in Argyle Shore. The South Shore is known for its beautiful red sandstone cliffs and miles of sandbars for strolling and exploring at low tide. We are centrally located about a 25-minute drive from Charlottetown, and about 45-minutes from Summerside.
There are 4 golf courses less than 10 minutes away, and just a 15-minute drive to the Town of Cornwall for groceries, bakery, restaurants, gas, automotive service, liquor store, pharmacy, movie rentals, book store, hair salon, hockey school, and even a Tim Hortons.

Vacation Rental Property

We have 4 cottages on 6 acres right on the Northumberland Strait. Quiet and private with forested areas. You can walk to the shore from each cottage in about 30 seconds. Swim and explore tidal pools on the shore; see seabirds and other wildlife; relax with a book under a shady tree; enjoy a family campfire.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Three cottages are 3-bedroom with double beds in each to accommodate 6 guests, and our two-bedroom cottage has new pillow-top queen beds for 4 guests. We also have sleeper sofas in some units. Each cottage has 1 washroom.

Fully equipped electrically heated cottages - full kitchen, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. Fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, propane BBQs, picnic tables, beach chairs, bedding, towels, patios, cable colour TV and DVD, CD player, coin laundry, telephone, firepit, firewood, playground, forest maze, DVD movies, books, games.

Policies & Restrictions

Cottages and beach area are not wheelchair accessible. Beach stairs and rocky shore area may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

No pets please.

Rates & Availability

Weekly rate based on 4 guests $850/week. Off-season rate $750/week. Open June to September. Please contact for monthly and seasonal rates.
