Beautiful and secluded setting overlooking the Northumberland Strait and close to Murray Harbour. Private access to own rocky and sheltered south facing beach. Cape Bear lighthouse nearby. Accessible to Wood Islands ferry for Nova Scotia. Golf course at Murray River.



Vacation Rental Property


Old Winsloe House is a newly refurbished Century House 20 minutes from Wood Islands ferry, on Route 18 in Guernsey Cove. The house contains 4 charming bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom, TV/DVD, telephone (free calls in North America). The house also has Internet access for guests. We have one bedroom on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The first floor also has a sitting area with mini-fridge and facilities for guests to make tea or coffee at any time.

The Old Winsloe House rooms are colour themed. Maroon, Green, Blue, and yellow all with en suite bathrooms.

Large lounge and decking. Spacious gardens with own woodland. Grass walk to private beach.

Large luxuriously fitted kitchen. Separate laundry and study. Phones and internet.

Restaurant, cash till, garage and shop at Murray Harbour with seal watching and fishing, water sking and fine soft sand beach at Beach Point. Regional capital Montague has all other facilities and superstores.

Resident owners on site either in the house for B&B guests or at the Coach House for weekly rental customers of the Old Winsloe House.
