Located at 522 New Cove Road, Prince Edward Island. Rooney Arms is easily accessed from the Trans Canada Highway
Situated on 6.5 acres of secluded tree lined private, property;
Rooney Arms is truly a diamond in the ruff.
The unique architecture of this stately home that was built in the early 1900s reflects the pride in workmanship that was commonly displayed throughout this area of Prince Edward Island.
Located immediately behind the house and barn you will enjoy a leisurely 5-minute walk to a spectacular view of breathtaking Orwell Bay and surrounding areas.
Also enjoy a leisurely walk (Approximately 1 Kilometer) to beautiful Portiere where you can bask in all the beauty that nature has to offer. Enjoy beautiful views of Orwell Bay, Eldon, McNallys Warf, Earnscliff and China Point; you will also see local fishermen plying their trade of fishing for clams, quahogs and oysters.
(Suggest that when you arrive at Portiere that you turn right and return to Rooney Arms along the sea shore
Enjoy being dwarfed by some of the highest red cliffs on the Island, where, when the tide is low you can dig your own clams, quahogs and escargot.
If you are in the mood for fresh mussels (a true delicacy) they can be found at the Mussel processing facility located Approximately 3 kilometers away from Rooney Arms on the Brush Warf Road.
Close enough to all the tourist sights but a great escape for anyone who wants to be alone and relaxed.
