This is a great hostel right in the middle of Southwest nova Scotia.I found the owners very friendly and helpful with information on the area.Even though there are no restaurants open in the winter I found the kitchen stocked with everything I ne ... more

Surrounding Area


The area offers many opportunities to explore nature with all the lakes and streams it is perfect for the fisherman or you could travel the streams in a canoe the choice is your. There are miles of trails for hiking as well and in the winter months the trails at the park are groomed if you like to cross country ski or snow shoe.There are rentals close by as well.

Accommodations


We have 2 dorm style rooms.Three beds in each as well as a private room.There is a full kitchen,also a sitting room.All are beds are made and towels are free.

We have a computer for the hostel as well as wireless. There is an internet cafe and a pizza place that are open year round.As well as 2 family restaurants open from May to October.We are with in walking distance of the downtown area which offers a grocery store,hardware store,post office,Liquor store etc
