We are only minutes away from Historic Shelburne, no more then 25 minutes from many of our white sand beaches that are Shelburne County's best kept secret and Riverhill Golf Course (a 18 hole golf course). Shelburne's downtown & waterfront area, which boasts four museums, a yacht club and performing arts center The Ospray, restaurants, tavern,coffee shops (The Bean Dock), gift stores and bookstores. Our five Roseway River Cottages are nestled along the banks of the Roseway River and offer the ideal combination of seclusion and access to parks, boating, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Four of the cottages have two bedrooms with double beds and there is one large one-bedroom cottage, with a sofa bed. The cottages have double comfy beds, with fresh linens, 4-piece baths and clock radio. Relax in the intimacy of a combined dining and living area, where you can sit and read, enjoy a meal overlooking the tranquil Roseway River or watch Satellite TV.

Policies & Restrictions

Monthly rentals available in off season, call for rates
Includes 2 (two) adults, children up to age 18 stay free. Extra adults $10.00 each. All rates are subject to 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax)

Reservation Policy:
All reservations must be guaranteed by cash, money order, Visa, Master Card or Direct Debit, with the total due upon Check-in.

Pet Friendly Policy:
If a pet will be accompanying you on your trip please let us know when making your reservation. We welcome your pet as long as they are well behaved & “non �"barkers”.

All animals must be kept on leashes when out & about and please clean up the “Doggie Do”. (If you run out of “Doggie Do” bags we will have some at the office).

No Smoking Policy:
Smoking is a personal preference, due to many travelers being sensitive to the long lasting smell and odor damage it causes; we will not tolerate smoking of any kind in the cottages. We will require a credit card guarantee for the room. A $250.00 damage amount will be charged to the credit card if a smoking odor is detected. This fee will go towards the cleaning of the room which is an extensive task. Smoking is permitted outside only.

Directions

Nova Scotia is a peninsula, surrounded on three sides by water and Shelburne is located on the western South Shore. This provides us with some of the most scenic coastline vistas in the world. Seaside fishing villages, isolated inlets and beaches a plenty await the traveler. We are literally "thrust" in to the Atlantic Ocean at the very Eastern tip of mainland Canada.

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway, Interstate 95, or a host of routes from the New England States and Quebec through New Brunswick to Nova Scotia and... on to Shelburne. From Prince Edward Island, you can take the Confederation Bridge or the ferry from Wood Islands PEI, to Caribou, NS.

Follow the 103 to Shelburne, Exit 26 turn up on the Ohio Road, 203 north, 1 kilometer, where you will see the signs for Roseway River Cottages.
