The Holdsworth House was built around 1784. This is one of the oldest homes in the town of Digby. The home has been restored to allow you to experience life as it once was over 200 years ago. Daily activities include wool spinn
ing and dyeing, candle making, soap making, rug hooking and heirloom gardening. All the vegetables grown in the garden predate the 1900's. Enjoy a game of croquet in the back yard overlooking the Bay of Fundy(world's highest tides),take a nap in the hammock, or take a stroll along the hiking path.
There are three guest rooms
all with private ensuite baths. Your accommodation includes a cooked to order 18th century style breakfast prepared on the open hearth as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee. You can pre-book your evening meal, again prepared and cooked in the restored kitchen. Fresh baked bread baked in the brick oven.
