The Clark House is part of the Ridge Avenue Historic District, a neighborhood of 19th century homes and churches. Cance Park is across the street. The Mississippi River village of Trempealeau , 6 miles away, features the Great River Bike Trail, Perrot State Park, and Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge.
Eugene Clark, a banker and state senator, built the Clark House in 1906. The spacious Victorian home features triple French and pocket doors, turret corners, and a library stocked with over 4000 volumes. A wrap-around veranda, breakfast patio, and gardens on the grounds offer gracious outdoor leisure.
There are 3 guest rooms. The Isaac Clark Room has a queen bed and private bath, while the Wicker Room and Aunt Millie's Room have full beds and share a bath.
Full breakfast included, Cable TV, AC, library.
Smoke-free, no pets or children under age 12.
