Surrounding Area


Located in the heart of Webster County Missouri on 40 acres and near several historical sites, a short drive to Springfield (Bass Pro Shops, Fantastic Caverns, shopping and dining), Amish communities, Laura Ingalls Wilder home, wineries, Branson (less than an hour), Compton Hollow Conservation Area (hiking and horseback riding), old mills, and antiquing.

Accommodations


We have (5) beautifully and differently appointed Guest Rooms with private baths, plus large retreat level and outdoor deck popular for weekend small group retreats (scrap-bookers, quilters, knitters, reunions, weddings). Situated on 40 acres, there is plenty of outdoor types activities. A nearby Friday night Barn Dance is fun to visit, along with other local music jam sessions traditional to the Ozarks. We have several outside covered areas and decks for relaxing, sipping a drink, and watching various wildlife common to the area. The oldest Masonic lodge west of the Mississippi still holding meetings in it's original charter building is just a mile away. A drive-in theatre (few remain) a few minutes in Seymour away brings back a feel of yesteryear.

Rates vary based on time of week. Weekday nights $99 to $109) and Weekend Nights $109 to $129 plus county sales tax.
