Burgeo, Newfoundland Bed & Breakfasts

Surrounding Area
Burgeo is a traditional Newfoundland out-port village with original stages and little fishing boats.
An ideal place for hiking, either by the seashore, through the Sand banks provincial park, or in the 140 kilometers of wilderness hills.
From here you can also take the ferry to other out ports such as Grey River , Francois or the island of Ramea.
The
inn is on the ocean front where you have access to all the little islands and the bays of the coast.

While hiking or kayaking, it's a great place to spruce up your navigation techniques.
Accommodations
Older merchants home with two stair wells and Red-eye maple flooring throughout.
Upstairs we have two rooms with ocean view and two with southeastern view, and a wee overflow room for an extra family member.
The living and dining rooms are on the lower level and are tastefully decorated with morning glory yellow and white wood trim. You will find paintings done by both local and the traveled artists.

We are directly across the street from the Maiden-Tea-Hill look-out, which has a board walk and a panoramic view of the coast.
Rooms/Suites
Our best room has the largest window overlooking the ocean and is complemented by a queen size bed, cable TV, sitting area and an en-suite bathroom.
The other ocean view room has a double and a single bed with a smaller window overlooking the ocean and has cable TV and en-suite bathroom.
The two rooms to the south east get the early morning sunlight, and both have a double and a single bed, with cable TV and en-suite bathrooms.

Amenities
There are three restaurants in town, all within walking distance from the Inn, a pub, a lovely museum, a library, and the famous Sand and Sea Festival at the end of July.
In Ramea you will find the hydrogen windmill pilot project put on by NFLD Hydro, a manned lighthouse, and a beautiful museum. Ramea is also complemented with many panoramic lookouts that are all interconnected with groomed trails.
