Hostel Monalisa

Monalisa Hostel is located just 30 minutes outside the town of Manizales in the Coffee region of Colombia in a typical coffee farm of around 4000 square meters.

On the land there is a variety of tropical plants and trees near a small river with a beautiful mountain view over the famous Nevado del Ruiz.

The hostel has a range of accommodation with 3 private rooms and 5 dormitories as well as a kitchen, hammocks, TV/DVD area, Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi...and a fabulous summer climate with daily 28 degrees.

Directions

If arriving by plane from either Bogotá or Medellín to Manizales airport, first, take a taxi to the bus terminal (which is only 10 minutes from the airport), and then another bus to 'Santagueda (Rochela)' this should take about 30 minutes.

If you arrive into the airport in Pereira, take a taxi to the bus terminal and then another bus to 'Chinchiná' which should take around 30 minutes. From Chinchiná, you can take a jeep or taxi to 'Santagueda Rochela' which is aother 15 minutes away.

Once you arrive in Santagueda (La Rochela), you'll find Hostel Monalisa behind the church, 30 meters on the left.
