Base Surf Lodge

Base is a long established surf lodge ideally situated overlooking Fistral beach, the UK's finest surfing spot! The lodge is also a short easy walk to Newquay's centre with its buzzing nightlife, restaurants and shops.

We have built a strong reputation for quality, comfort, affordability and, above all, fantastic vibes in a unique, chilled-out atmosphere.

The lodge boasts comfortable dorm-style accommodation in rooms of 2, 4 or 6 with crisp cotton linen supplied. Most rooms have panoramic views of Fistral beach or Newquay Bay.

Our in-house surf school, Big Green Surf School, run lessons every day on the world famous Fistral Beach and offer amazing discounts for residents of the lodge. From the M5 join the A30 towards Bodmin & Launceston. Follow this road for approximately 75 miles until turning off when you see a signpost towards Newquay & Airport.

At the roundabout at the bottom of the slipway turn right (3rd exit) towards Newquay. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Newquay & Indian Queens. Keep following signs towards Newquay & Fistral Beach.

Once you turn onto Tower Road you'll find us towards the bottom of the hill on the right-hand side - just look for the Base Surf Lodge sign. Parking is in the carpark opposite - look for the big yellow sign to your left as you come down the hill. Give us a call for some help on getting to us if you need.
