About Darna Village Beach Hostel

Darna Village has opened in April 2009 on South Beach, Aqaba.

Darna means 'our home' in Arabic and that's exactly how we would like you to feel when you stay with us: at home.

Our family-run hostel offers comfortable single, double and triple rooms overlooking the Red Sea as well as shared budget accommodation in a Bedouin Tent or on top of the Roof.

Our restaurant serves the most delicious seafood, our dive center can arrange your shore and boat dives in Aqaba and you can also rent snorkel gear.


Why Stay At South Beach?
Leave the hassle and bustle of the town behind you and relax.

If you travelled through Jordan, walked along Petra and trekked in Wadi Rum, you deserve a few days of doing nothing but enjoying the sea.

Put on a snorkel mask and only a few meters away from the shore you can observe beautiful coral formations and colorful fish species of the Red Sea.

You can still experience the evening buzz of the the souk as Aqaba downtown is only a 10-minute drive from the beach.

Darna Village is located on Aqaba's South Beach Road, 12 kms south of downtown, at the Public Beach Nr 4.

GPS: 29°25'30.12' N and 34°58'28.79' E

By car, drive pass Public Beach Nr 3 - the one that has parking lots and buildings on your right - and then make a U-turn at the next possibility, drive about 50 meters and turn right.
Darna Village is the first hostel on your left.
Public buses also run on this route. They leave from the traffic lights close to the Big Flag, and the fare costs around JD 0.5-0.75.
