Situated in the UNESCO Zone & is one of the last few heritage villages in this historical part of the town, our accommodation gives out the best of both worlds - walking distances to most tourist attractions (both historical & modern) and has a surrounding which is peaceful and with a touch of local traditional elements. (Malay/Chinese/Dutch)

Built in 1912 this partly wooden and brick house is equipped with updated facilities in the event you require so. We have a large garden and a traditional wooden hut for guests to relax in and at the same time socialize with fellow guests.

All interior is kept in its original design, where we provide private rooms with air conditioning or fan and with attached bathrooms if one prefers. A relaxing lobby with an air well and an old kitchen fire stove is maintained as part of our heritage.

>This accomodation may not be suitable for those who has no previous experience living in Guesthouses/Villages/Homestay environment.
>Guests are advised to keep peace after 10.30pm.
>This accomodation is mostly made of wood (traditional) so the ambience is different from most Guesthouses.

Location :

Situated behind the oldest school in Melaka (Malacca High School). You will notice a lane in between Malacca High School and St Francis Institution with a Malay stall. Walk in straight towards a house with a large compound and you will find us just behind it. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Dataran Pahlawan, Bukit China and also a 10 minute walk to tourist attractions such as Jonker Street, A Famosa Fort, Stadhuys.

Directions to Hostel :

FROM AIRPORT:
Disembark from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), you can either take a Taxi or Bus Express to Melaka which is approximately a 1 hour 30 minutes journey.

BY CAR:
Use the North South Highway and exit at Simpang Ampat if you are coming from the south. If you are coming from the north, exit at Ayer Keroh and drive towards the Melaka City (Bandar Melaka). Landmarks : Equatorial Hotel & Melaka High School)

BY TAXI:
If you disembark at Melaka Sentral (Bus Station), you can get a taxi at a standard rate of RM15 per taxi (may incur extra charge during odd hours) towards the UNESCO zone where our place is situated. Ask the driver to go to Melaka High School.

BY BUS:
Using the local bus services (Town Bus or Panorama); drop off at the bus stop (Dataran Pahlawan Mall), near Hotel Equatorial. Then walk towards Jalan Chan Koon Cheng towards Melaka High School. You will notice a small lane at right side between Melaka High School and St Francis Institution Primary School. Walk into the lane and follow our Apa Kaba sign board.
