Near to the hostel you can find the most important touristic places like the Government Palace, the Congress Building, the Cabildo, the South America's first train station, the Independence House and plenty more. You also have a lot of restaurants, banks, boutiques, bars and pubs in the area.
We have shared dorms and private rooms available with comfortable beds (with or with a/c). There\'s a TV room where you can see some of our DVD\'s or just watch cable TV, a beautiful courtyard to relax, a fully equipped kitchen, free internet access and free WiFi.
Our hostel is at the centre of the historical downtown, there\'s no need to take a bus to see the most important spots. And if you feel like party, we have the best advice for that. Asunción have a crazy nightlife and we\'re sure you will enjoy every moment here, but we have to warn you... you may never want to leave!
Directions
From the bus station you can take a bus, line 31, the one that goes to the downtown (centro) and ask the bus driver to stop at Independencia Nacional, you will get down in front of the hostel.
From the airport you can also take a bus, line 30, but always ask the driver if the bus goes to the downtown, in that case ask him to stop at Independencia Nacional, the bus pass in front of the hostel.
If you don't have problems with spending more you can take a taxi, all taxis have a counter so you don't have to worry about having to negotiate the price with the taxi driver.
From the Plaza Uruguaya just have to walk 3 blocks to get to the hostel
From Ciudad del Este or Foz do Iguazú you can take a bus to Asunción, there's buses everyday and is a 5 hours trip.
From Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo you have also buses everyday to Asunción, and is a 17 and 20 hours trip respectively.
By plane From outside of South America, there are no nonstop flights to Asunción (Silvio Pettirossi International Airport). The best options are São Paulo or Buenos Aires (from where you could alternatively also take a direct bus to Asunción, 20h and 17h respectively) and change to one of the local carriers, e.g. TAM, Varig, GOL Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas.
