StepsHouse Hostel right in the heart of Porto\'s Old Town within spitting of the River Douro and Ribeira where all the action is.

This is a small, unmarked property and guest house for travellers who want luxury at a budget price.

Steps House is a place to wind down and a perfect place to enjoy all that Porto has to offer - great bars, clubs, cheap restaurants, cafes, boat trips, the port wine cellars.

The river is just down the hill and the tram to the beaches of Foz is 2 minutes away.

The property has cable TV, WIFI throughout and loads of games and a Wii console for the lazy! Porto is on the doorstep so have a glass of free Porto Wine and get going!

At Steps House you\'ll find a warm welcome in our spacious lounge and kitchen 24 hrs/ day. Our staff will help with your entire traveler\'s needs, for example: tourist info, ticket service (shows or city tours), night life tips, laundry service, or just a beer while you plan your next activity 24 hrs/ day.

At Steps House our main goal is to make you feel home. We have three floors were the dorms and bathrooms are distributed over the floors. It has been totally renovated to a very high standard with a totally equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a great lounge.

There are 2 mixed shared dorms and a private room.
We also have a private apartment that we rent as private room with it´s own kitchen ,living room and bathroom.
Our maximum capacity is 20 people so although it is a big and spacious the house feels very cozy!

The living room has a fire to lit up during the winter and the house has central heating as well! So during the winter cold nights you can cuddle up around the fire and enjoy your free glass of Porto wine!

Directions

Plane: The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is located at 15 Kms from the Oporto centre. To reach the city centre you can take the bus 56 that operates every 20 minutes or the AEROBUS.

Aerobus: Every 30 minutes from 07h00 to 19h30 comfortablebuses do the fast connection vetween the airport, the hotels and Oporto center. The ticket can be bought at the bus or at the hotels, being valid for every bus or tram in the very day.
This Bus transport you directily to our Hotel.

Car: From Oporto there are 3 highways: one to Lisbon (A1), other to Minho (A3) and another to Trás-os-Montes (A4).

Train: S.Bento Station (in the city center) is situeted about 500 metros from us.
Campanhã Station is about 10 minutes by taxi
