Lime Tree Cottage

We are a British/Slovak couple and have a lovely traditional old wooden cottage situated in the picturesque village of Zdiar in the Tatra mountains that can sleep up to ten people. Only just opened, it has a beautiful garden and BBQ facility with great views and is extremely peaceful all year round.

Downstairs there is a large living room with log burner and satellite TV and a fully fitted kitchen plus one double bedroom and bathroom, and two double rooms,one big family room and a bathroom upstairs.

Local shops and restaurants are just a five minute walk away. In winter Zdiar is a lively ski resort and in spring/summer is extremely popular for hiking in the stunning scenery of the nearby mountains.

Directions

Regular bus service from Poprad to Zdiar. From Poland good bus service from Krakow to Zakopane or Nowy Targ then bus to Slovak border at Lysa Polana 10 kms from Zdiar. Take Poprad bus to Zdiar. Also direct bus service from Zakopane which passes through the village. When in Zdiar turn at petrol station then left at church. Stay on road for approx 1km and 50 metres past Goralska Karcma restaurant turn right. We are the last cottage at the top of the lane, number 360.
