Pensión Gárate is situated in a privileged place of Donostia - San Sebastian, located 50 meters from the famous Bahia de la Concha, in the heart of the city. In its environs you can find the most important commercial of San Sebastián.

There´s only a few minutes walk to the Harbour´s District, the marvellous Mountain Urgull with a beautiful sight over the Atlantic-Sea and the Old Town with all its leisure and gastronomic offers as Tapas and 'Pintxos'. Close to the Pension you will find the cities biggest and most important car parks.

18 beds, 9 rooms, 1 floors. Built in 1960, the guest-house was totally new made in 2009.

Check-in from 9 a.m to 10.30 p.m., access to the rooms from 1 p.m. on. If your arrival is after 5 p.m. it´s necessary to confirm the arrival time via phone or Email. If customer do not cancel 24 hours before arrival the first night will be charged as no-show.

Closest International Airports: Bilbao and Biarritz (France)

By Car:

When approaching by highway from directions Madrid or Bilbao to San Sebastian take the Exit Ondarreta. Then follow the signs Centro/Erdia. After passing the Concha Bay, you will arrive at San Martin Street, continue until number 54. When you are coming from France (Irún) take the Exit Amara and follow the signs Centro/Erdia until San Martin Street 54.

Within 20 minutes walking. Bus No. 26 and 28 from Avenida Sancho El Sabio towards the Boulevard, stops at San Martin Street.

From Train Station:

We are located only 10 minutes walk from the Train Station RENFE. Cross the bridge to get Prim Street, turn right and take San Martin Street. We are at number 54.
