The Garden Backpacker

Welcome to the "Garden Backpacker", and thank you for visiting our site.
Our new hostel was opened in October 2009 and we have thought about the best location for you. It is located in the historic centre of downtown "one step away from the city centre" which fulfils your main requirements to find anything you need.

We have chosen a real "Sevillian house" for our hostel. This Hostel is quiet in its interior, well equipped with a wide and comfortable lounge to watch TV, play Table Games, Darts, Karaoke and Wii or if you like to read something we have a library where you can read or exchange books. We are especially proud of our beautiful GARDEN, we are the only Hostel in Seville which has one, where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner or just to have a rest after your busy day walking around.


Once you get here, you just have to choose the right way to explore the city, as we offer different activities and ways to do so.
Making your getting around easier we provide a rental BIKE service for a very cheap price!
You prefer walking? Enjoy the daily free walking tour around the city where our guides tell you everything about its history and its countless legends... We also organize a tapas tour to meet other people from the hostel and to taste the typical Andalusian food and drinks ...and why not? You can end up joining the pub crawl for a crazy night out and to experience sevillians night and street life.
Friday is the Paella's Day which takes place in our cosy Garden....followed by bike-tours, more cooking, etc.!
Breakfast is included in the price, consisting of coffee, herbal teas, juices, toasts, cereals, homemade jam… to start your day full of energy. We also have free coffee and tea for the whole day and, according to the day, the best SANGRIA ever (for free!)

If you have dirty clothes don't worry, we have a laundry service and for all of you who tend to forget stuff at home like hairdryer, earplugs, etc. we provide it to borrow and/or rent in the hostel.

We won't say that we are the best, but doubtless we'll try hard to make you believe it.

Hostel One Sevilla Alameda is located on c/Jesus Del Gran Poder 113.

From de Airport: Take the bus (2,50 €) to Santa Justa Train Station.

From Santa Justa Train Station: Take the first avenue (Avenida Jose Loguillo)on the right.There is a bus stop 50mts away where you can take a bus No:C2 (1,20 €), get down in La Barqueta. Cross the avenue 'Avenida Resolana', and take a tiny street called 'Arragel', and at the end of the street, take calle 'Calatrava' to the left, the third corner on the right is Jesus del Gran Poder, number 113 is 2 minutes away from there.

From Plaza de Armas bus station: The bus station is right next to the river, so if you have the river behind you, you should walk left onto the street that is right next to the river, called Calle Torneo (the river should be on your left). After a 10 min walk, you'll have to turn right onto Puerta de San Juan (antigua calle de Guadalquivir), and, once it comes to an end, you should turn right and left again in the first one, Hombre de Piedra. The first corner on your left is our street, Jesus Del Gran Poder, turn left and 50 meters along the street is the hostel, number 113.

From Prado San Sebastian bus station:Getting out from the station turn left and walk until you get to the first Avenue called Avenida Menéndez y Pelayo.Turn right onto this Avenue and about 50mts you find the bus stop for the bus C4 (1.20€).Take the bus and get off at, La Barqueta (before the bridge).
