Surrounding Area
The offshore waters are part of preserved National Monument. Into watersports? We have amazing scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and wind surfing. Take the underwater snorkeling trail at world famous Trunk Bay. You can rent boats and other gear right off the beach at Caneel Bay and Cinnamon Bay. And if you like snorkeling you have to check out the sea turtles around Water Lemon Key.
View and experience plantation life. The National Park has preserved several sugar mill ruins. Check out Annaberg, a series of sugar mill/rum distillery ruins with gorgeous views. The National Park has also preserved St. John's hiking trails. You can sign up for guided walks or go on your own adventures.
We also have some fun stores, all privately owned. We have one shopping "mall" called Mongoose Junction. Plus tons of cute shops scattered throughout our two towns, Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. We also have some truly amazing restaurants, some of the best fine dining in the Caribbean.
Vacation Rental Property
Each bedroom has its own unique theme, its own porch or balcony, and its own stunning view. Open the windows and enjoy the Caribbean breeze or each room also has its own air conditioner. AcquaBlu also has WiFi in all of the rooms including the pool deck!
You won't need to go far to have some island adventure. Acquablu is surrounded by tropical gardens including two beautiful garden paths. There is a three-minute walking trail from the villa down to the rocky shore. Along the way keep a look out for iguanas, hermit crabs, skinks, and hummingbirds. There is also a ten-minute walk down to the Boatman Point Private Beach, perfect for shell collecting, swimming, and pelican spotting. If you're feeling a little more adventurous hike down into Chocolate Hole and explore Hart Bay, great for surfing, snorkeling, and some of the island's best shell collecting.
Acquablu also offers some amazing island fun for grownups: the Blu Cellar. We hand select and import wines from Italy and put them in our new wine cellar. The cellar has a wide selection, moderately priced bottles to special occasion bottles. Each bottle is marked with a sticker and there's a book of descriptions for each wine. Take whichever bottle you like, leave the sticker, and we'll send you a bill.

St. Thomas Bedroom: The Zen Room
Each of our bedrooms has a theme, this one is Zen. It sports minimalist décor, a 14-foot ceiling, calming blue walls, and a view of the Caribbean Sea and St. Thomas. This room has the plushest king bed in the villa, and it also has a unique, Mojave chaise lounge. The bathroom has a handmade vessel sink and a spacious, glass-door shower with a view of St. Thomas. A French door leads out to your own balcony with views of vast ocean and endless sky.
Ram's Head Bedroom: The Sun Room
The wall colors of this room suggest sunset, but the room itself is perfect for watching the sunrise over Ram's Head Point from your personal porch. The Sun Room has the most elaborate bathroom in the villa with a Japanese soak tub, his/hers sinks, and an outdoor shower overlooking the garden and sea.
French Garden Bedroom: The Island Fancy Room
On St. John there's a term called 'island fancy,' which means 'as formal as island living allows.' The French Garden Room is our fanciest bedroom; it's like something out of a fairy tale. There's an elegant four-poster bed with a diaphanous canopy, a handmade mahogany sink, and a private porch that leads out into the garden. There are views of the Caribbean Sea and Ram's Head Point. The room has an outdoor shower and its own entrance to the downstairs patio and bar, plus access to a spiral staircase entrance leading upstairs.
Plantation Bedroom: The Captain's Quarters
The Plantation Bedroom harkens back to colonial days. The décor is ornate and majestic with a king, leather-lined sleigh bed and a West Indian mahogany chaise lounge. The room looks out at the Caribbean Sea to St. Croix from its front deck and out Hart Bay and St. Thomas in the other direction. The bathroom has a handmade vessel sink and a spacious indoor shower. The Plantation Bedroom offers easy access to the pool and also to the downstairs patio and bar area.
