Active Adventure
Horseback riding is all we do here. We offer complete flexibility in the riding programme so that it is geared to the interest level of the guests. Regardless of whether this is your first horseback riding experience, or you are a seasoned rider, we will match you with the perfect horse and he will be yours for the duration of your stay. Guests are encouraged to spend time at the barn getting to know the horses they'll be riding and we offer a total immersion experience for those guests who want to have a more hands-on experience with all aspects of the care and ownership of their horse. Guided by our experienced Wranglers, we ride through the mountains surrounding the ranch on an extensive network of old logging roads and cattle trails through the forest, climbing as soon as we leave the gate.Whether you're travelling alone, with a partner or a group of friends, our small guest ranch offers stunning views, great food, like-minded company and a peaceful, calm environment to relax, unwind and forget about the stresses of the real world.

Children of all ages are welcome at the ranch however please note that children must be aged 8 years or older to take part in trail rides. For younger children we can offer short pony rides in our arena and small pasture.
We also welcome larger groups and family reunions who are looking to have exclusive use of the ranch.
Sleeping and meals
Our spacious cabins are luxuriously equipped to ensure your comfort during your stay. Cabins are either furnished with one queen bed or two double (full size) beds and all have a private bathroom with bath tub and shower. The cabins also have a wide covered porch perfect for relaxing or enjoying an early morning cup of coffee. Each cabin is furnished with custom designed, hand constructed log furniture. Our beds are fitted with pillow top mattresses, feather duvets and pillows and high quality linens. Bathrooms are fully with oversized fluffy towels, luxurious bath robes and natural organic amenities.
Our stunning lodge with a wall of windows and breathtaking views down Louis Creek Valley is the heart of the activity at Tod Mountain Ranch. This is the place where guests gather for meals, activities, relaxing and socializing when they are not out on the trail. Our dining room has a large table that everyone can sit around to enjoy the mouthwatering feasts provided by our resident Chef. The games room is equipped with a pool table, cards, dice games, and a selection of board games for you to enjoy. We even provide the gaming chips. If you just want to relax, then curl up on one of the sofas in our fireside lounge complete with a library of books and magazines. Or maybe you'd like to watch a movie from our DVD library. We have a small TV lounge just for that purpose. For those that need to stay in touch we have a PC with free internet access for guest use. At the rear of the lodge is a complimentary guest laundry facility.
Restrictions
We are unable to accommodate guest's pets at the ranch, but we have plenty of our own and are willing to share!
The ranch buildings are all non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in designated areas.
Rates
Our rates are all-inclusive and include all horseback riding (approx 5 hrs each day), cabin accommodation, wholesome home-cooked meals three times daily, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and snacks throughout your stay, use of all ranch facilities
We receive many guests who are travelling solo, and we do not charge any additional single supplements.
Free transfers to/from Kamloops at the start and end of your stay if required.
Other Information
From 1st December - 31st March we are open for guests who wish to enjoy the wide variety of winter sports on our doorstep. We are located just 15 minutes from Sun Peaks Resort.
