'easyvie' is a 30m (100 feet) Cruisebarge sleeping a maximum of six guests in 4 twin cabins, all ensuite. A large saloon seats 6 in comfort and is complemented by British satellite television (available in all ports visited) and a superior sound system. All Guests are welcome in the fully equipped galley to help themselves to refreshments at any time if they are not being served. The sun deck covers all the forward end and is ideally suited to while away the cruise in comfortable loungers. Breakfast and lunch is generally served on the sun deck under the parasols which cover all the sun deck. Whilst cruising, Guests are welcome to visit the wheelhouse, especially on the rivers Tarn and Garonne, where they might like to try their hand at steering this beautiful Cruisebarge.

Destinations

The current cruise itenery visits the larger towns of Moissac and Montauban and also stops overnight at Montech, Valence d'Agen and Castelsarrasin.

Typical Day

A pre-arranged meeting on the first day starts your cruise vacation at Montauban. A welcome barbeque or dinner is served in the evening to allow Guests time to meet the crew and get to know 'easyvie'.
We depart Montauban at coffee time around 10:30 am for Montech and cruise along the tree lined Montech Canal negotiating 9 locks on the way. Lunch will be served enroute which leaves a couple of hours of relaxation before we arrive at Montech around 4:00 pm. We suggest a short walk into town to stretch your legs and choose the restaurant for your evening meal. You are welcome to return to 'easyvie' to freshen up and enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the sundeck before going out to dinner.
Guests generally like to end their day on the sundeck before retiring.

Age range, type of group

Singles are most welcome with no supplementary charge as all cabins convert from a twin berth to a single berth with a daybed.
Guests with mobility issues might find the usual staircases and steps challenging, however, with the assistance of the crew an alternative route to the sundeck is easily achieved.

Sleeping and meals

With the exception of the first night, Guests are provided with a substantial breakfast of their choice and a lunch always prepared with fresh local produce. Dinner is at the Guests' expense in a variety of recommended restaurants in the ports we visit. This provides the choice of menu and budget that all our Guests have appreciated as well as the variety of establishments and faire.

'easyvie's comfortable cabins are tastefully decorated and all have opening windows for Guest's comfort. Bathrooms are ensuite.

Policies & Restrictions

'easyvie' is renowned for it's relaxed atmosphere and informality, however, smoking is restricted to the sundeck for other Guests' comfort.

Very unusually, pets are welcome on board but prefer they are kept in areas designated on 'easyvie' suitable for their safety and comfort but not in cabins or in the galley.

Rates & Availability

Rates start at €9,000 per week (6 nights) for a whole boat, half board, charter and are adjusted to take into account the number of Guests wishing to cruise and the duration of their cruise being a minimum of 4 nights aboard.

'easyvie' does not have a fixed routine and so please contact us for availability with options that you may have. Early booking will ensure your choice is given priority over later enquiries.

The towpaths alongside the canal are ideally suited to walking and cycling and the locks provide a safe place to disembark or embark so Guests are free to use the cycles and maps aboard to explore further afield. 'easyvie' cruises at walking pace on the canals so there are many opportunities to take a leisurely stroll with a camera for those all important photographs.
