While skiing at Loveland ski area and other close-by Resorts is the winter attraction in the area, summertime offers an endless list of activities. The Georgetown Loop Railroad offers rides and dinner trains on the famous railroad. There is hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, ATVing and auto touring in the immidiate area just to name a few of the things to do. The Chamonix is located in Historic Georgetown, Colorado that feature one of the most authentic mining towns in Colorado along with their museums, shops and stores that will delight you!

The Hotel Chateau Chamonix is a unique boutique hotel of the design currently found in the Alps of Europe. The outside design elements are feature for feature like a new chalet in the French Alps. The owner of the Chamonix was born and raised in France, so this European design helped bring a little bit of Europe to Georgetown that already had much European influence during the historic mining years.

There are 10 rooms, 5 on the first floor and 5 in the 2nd floor. The property is designed as a get-a-way location for couples and individuals who want to treat themselves to an upscale experience at a more than reasonable price. All but 2 rooms have gas fireplaces and the 2 rooms that do not have fireplaces are the only rooms that have steam showers. All rooms are elegantly decorated with a warm atmosphere for your enjoyment.

All downstairs rooms have 2 person hot tubs on private balconies. Upstairs rooms have private balconies and share a common hot tub on the 2nd floor deck. A free glass of wine is offered on the day of check-in and a continental breakfast is delivered through a side door directly into your room for you to open up and get whenever you wish! Stream and mountain views are can be found from most every location on the property. There is a guest computer in the lobby and free wi-fi is available anywhere on the property. The sitting area also doubles as meeting space for small groups of up to 25 people when needed.

The is a non-smoking, non-pet facility. Smoking is permitted in outside areas provided no smoke is allowed to backdraft into the rooms or common spaces. This is primarily a quiet, get-a-way property for couples and individuals. Other requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and need to contact the front desk directly before booking.

Rates are typically $145 + tax for 1 or 2 people on weekdays (Sun.-Thurs. nights) and $160 + tax on weekends (Fri. & Sat. nights). It is alway best to call directly for any price changes that may occur over time. Holiday times are typically $180 + tax.

Late check-ins (those checking in after 10 pm) must call in advance to get set up for a late check-in. It is very simple to set it up for you so make sure you call before the lobby closes at 10 pm.

Take I-70 to the Georgetown exit 228. About 75 yards from the exit is a round-a-bout. Take the 1st exit right onto Argentine Street. We are about 100 yards down Argentine Street on the left side of the road. Please park in the guest parking area that is closest to the round-a-bout because it is closest to your entrance door when the lobby is closed.
