Surrounding Area

The home of our operations is the picturesque village of Ninilchik, just 3 1/2 hours of breathtaking highway sightseeing from Anchorage. Once you arrive, you'll find this a great central location to spend an entire vacation. You can walk to the Ninilchik River for salmon and trout fishing, local beaches for world-renowned razor clams, the old Ninilchik village, downtown, the post office, and the senior center. Within a short drive are the famous Deep Creek, Kasilof, Anchor, and Kenai rivers, the scenic town of Homer, and many hiking areas with abundant photo opportunities. You can experience pristine river fishing for King, Red, and Silver salmon on your own or hire a guide. We can show you how and where to dig for prized razor clams, send you on our serene yet exciting king salmon drift boat charters on the Kasilof River, or thrill you with saltwater fishing on our own world class charter service. Our on-site charter operation, Afishunt Charters, will pick you up at your RV and bring you right back to the park with your prized catch of halibut or salmon.

RV Park

We have recently renovated the entire Rv park- built new showers and laundry, widened the sites, added the area's only satellite TV and 50/30/20 amp service to each of our 52 full hookup sites, and free wi-fi! Although our sites are back-in, all are big-rig friendly, and six are super-sized. We also have 10 partial hookup sites and a secluded tent/ Camping area. For your fishing parties without RV's, we have 1 and 2 bedroom fully furnished cabins, a complete 3 bedroom mobile home with washer & dryer, and a small bunkhouse. To allow you to fully enjoy the area, we provide several services and amenities. We can vacuum pack, freeze and ship your catch at either the park or the downtown location. Both offices stock RV parts, ice, coffee, snacks, sodas, camping/fishing gear, fishing licenses, copier and fax. Fishing/ clamming rental equipment is also available such as rain gear, fishing gear, and clam shovels. You can join friends in our RV office lounge for cards, games, or just swapping fish stories. With on-site fish and clam cleaning tables, a boat/RV wash station, RV dump site, and a fish smoker, you have no need to look elsewhere for your camping, fishing, and clamming needs!

Rooms/Cabins

All of our cabins have full kitchens, baths, living rooms, etc and are fully-functioning small homes. Our newest units are park model cabins that even have electric fireplaces and entertainment centers!

Policies & Restrictions

Pets are permitted in the Rv resort with the usual restrictions of being on a leash at all times and for the owners to pick up pet waste. We have only one cabin that is approved for pets and a pet deposit and cleaning fee is required if a pet is taken into that unit.

Rates & Availability

Open season is May 1 to Labor Day.
RV sites are $40 per day, $240 per week and $745 per month.
Cabin rates vary with size of unit and is based on the number of persons staying in the unit. The basic rate for cabins (two persons) are:
one bedroom- $129
two bedroom standard- $139
two bedroom deluxe park model- $159
three bedroom- $149
***July prices add $20 per night

halibut- $215 per person

Kenai River- $195

Directions

Drive south from Soldotna on the Sterling Highway to the north end of the town of Ninilchik. At mile marker 135.4, which is just after the Ninilchik River crossing, turn left on Kingsley Road. It is clearly marked. Proceed 100 yards on Kingsley and look for the large rv park on the left. It is Alaskan Angler RV Resort.
