    Northern Ireland's Giant's Causeway Coast is world renowned for its un-spoiled landscape and celtic history. The Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, and Bushmills Whiskey Distillery are all with in short driving distance of Downhill. The famous Mussenden Temple estate neighbours Downhill Beach Retreat overlooking the N. Atlantic Ocean.

    We provide accommodation for independent travelers who desire the comforts of home whilst meeting other guests from around the globe. Traditionally called a 'hostel', Downhill offers guests use of their own kitchen for cooking meals as well as comfortable family style living and dining rooms and other home amenities like laundry machines, irons, and internet access. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms and some share washing facilities. There are 2 shared rooms for young people and individuals traveling on a budget, one for women and one for mixed groups. The other 7 rooms are designed for couples or families.
