Cozy Hostel Farm.
A Restful stopover.
Small and cozy Horse Farm located in Colonia state countryside. We are located 50 minutes Bus from Colonia on the way to Montevideo. Bus frequency is excellent as well as inexpensive and comfortable.
Criollo horses, fireplace, sauna, books, fondue and good wine, bikes, solar energy, peace and tranquility .
Heating in all bedrooms and common areas.
No TV nor Wi Fi for your soul welfare.
We speak , English, French, some German and Spanish.
Traveling is in our souls!
We know how important it is to have a rest in your trip.

We accept VISA and Master Card credit cards. Subject to 7% surcharge.
Guests may use the kitchen facilities to prepare meals from 12.00 to 18.00 hrs.
In our meals we use natural products from our garden or from the region.
Drinks should be purchased at El Galope. We have very good water from our own well for free.
Children under the age of 18 are unable to be accommodated.
Pets are not allowed
LODGING: Al rooms and dorms are for two guests either in single bunk beds or in double bed.
Breakfast is included in the rate
It is possible to pay in USD, Uruguayan $, Argentinian $ or Euros

Horseride :
For experienced horseriders - USD 35 per person/ 2:30 hours aprox. out of EL Galope
For beginners - USD 25 per person / 1:30 hours aprox inside the farm.
Bike rental 100 m. from El Galope - USD 1 per person/hour
Sauna - USD 10 per person

HOW TO GET HERE From Buenos Aires:
From Buenos Aires Port, take the ferryboat to Colonia del Sacramento.
FROM COLONIA:
Colonia del Sacramento is a very small beautiful ancient town, 3 hrs are enough to get to know it entirely. Just outside the port, you will find the bus terminal with lockers to leave your luggage while visiting the historical town.
BY BUS:
At the bus terminal take TURIL bus to Valdense. It takes 45 minutes.
Once you have your ticket please call 099105985 or ask at TURIL's desk to call us indicating the time you are leaving and we'll arrange a Taxi to pick you up (transfer USD 8 for 4 passengers max,) You will recognize the taxi driver by the Ël Galope'sign.

By car:
From Colonia's Port take National Rout 1 to Montevideo and turn left at Km 114, 5. You will see a sign 'Balneario Santa Regina'. Turn the opposite direction and keep on straight two kms, then turn left and you will find 'El Galope" on your right.
FROM MONEVIDEO
By Bus:
From Tres Cruces Bus terminal take TURIL bus to Valdense. It takes 1:50 hr.
Once you have your ticket please call 099105985 or ask at TURIL's desk to call us indicating the time you are leaving and we'll arrange a Taxi to pick you up (transfer USD 8 for 4 passengers max.).You will recognize the driver by the 'El Galope'sign

By Car
Take National Route 1 to Colonia and turn right at km. 114,5. You will see a sign 'Balneario Santa Regina'. Turn the opposite direction and keep on straight two kms, then turn left and you will find 'El Galope" on your right
