Directions

Inn is on City Dart Transit route which costs only 0.25 US Dollar (twenty five cents) per ride to City center
locations including BJCC; is 14 blocks from Amtrak Train Station; is 19 blocks from Greyhound Bus Station; 10 minute taxi ride from Birmingham Airport; and 2.5 hour car drive from large Atlanta Airport.

From Points East (such as Atlanta, Anniston, Oxford, Talladega)

1. Take Interstate-20 west to Birmingham where it joins Interstate 59, continue west as joined Interstate 20/Interstate 59
2. Take Exit #126A , Highway 31/280 East
3. Take the left fork for Highway 31/280 during the fly-over ramp
4. Take Second exit- 8th Avenue South(also known as University Blvd), Turn Right end of ramp onto University Blvd.
5. Travel about 8 blocks and turn left at 20th Street South (at UAB's Red Brick High-Rise),
6. Travel 5 blocks up the hill on 20th street South into Five Points restaurant district
7. Turn Right onto 13th Avenue South (near Oceans restaurant),
8. Travel one block turn left onto 19th Street South
9. Look for Big Yellow Victorian Inn on left.
10. Park along driveway or at rear of House


From Birmingham International Airport

1. Take Airport Blvd out-bound from Airport (only goes one direction)
2. Take Interstate I-59/I-20 West towards Tuscaloosa
3. Take Exit #126A Highway 31/280 East
4. Take the left fork for Highway 31/280 Eas during fly-over rampt
5. Take Second exit- 8th Avenue South (also known as University Blvd), turn right end of ramp onto University Blvd
6. Travel about 8 blocks and turn left at 20th Street South (at UAB's Red Brick High-Rise)
7. Travel 5 blocks up the hill on 20th Street South through Five Points restaurant district

From Points North (such as Huntsville, Nashville)

1. Take Interstate-65 South into Birmingham, cross over Interstate-20/Interstate-59 and continue on I-65 South
2. Take exit #259B/4th Avenue South the ramp only goes one way to the east. Keep on it and it turns into 4th Avenue South
3. Travel 8 blocks on 4th Avenue South to 20th Street South
4. Turn right onto 20th Street South (near University Hospital)
5. Travel 14 blocks along 20th Street South, go up a hill, travel through the Five Points Restaurant entertainment district
6. Right turn onto 13th Avenue South (near Ocean's Restaurant)
7. Travel one block, turn left onto 19th Street South
8. Look for Big Yellow Victorian Inn on left
9. Park along driveway or at rear of house


From Points South (such as Montgomery, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Mobile)

1. Take Interstate-65 North to Birmingham, travel past Interstate 459 interchange, continue on Interstate 65 North for several more exits
2. Take University Blvd Exit
3. Turn Right at end of ramp onto University Blvd., keep going straight on University Blvd. Travel about 8 blocks through the University of Alabama campus (you'll see lots of red brick buildings)
4. Turn right onto 20th Street South (at UAB Buildings), travel up the hill through the Five Points restaurant district to 13th Ave South
5. Turn right onto 13th Avenue South (near Ocean's restaurant)
6. Travel one block, turn left onto 19th Street South
7. Look for Big Yellow Victorian Inn on left
8. Park along driveway or at rear of house


From Points South West (such as Tuscaloosa, Jackson, Meridian, Vicksburg)

1. Take Interstate 59 North towards Birmingham
2. Take Interstate 459 East towards Atlanta/Gadsden
3. Take Interstate 65 North towards Birmingham
4. Take University Blvd exit
