Our mixed dorms are big and bright with super high ceilings and lots of space (no more crowded camp-style dorms). Each bed has its own reading light, night shelf and power outlet, featuring curtains for added privacy. Next to the bathroom area, there's a comfortable common room featuring individual security lockers, dressing rooms and washbasins.

The private rooms are ideal for couples or friends looking for a little privacy but still wanting to experience the fun social atmosphere of a cool hostel. These rooms feature great design with high-quality linens and amenities.

The common areas of the Casa feature a huge and functional kitchen with all the facilities to prepare delicious meals. There are free condiments and cooking oil available for guests to use. Complimentary breakfast is served everyday, so you can get the energy necessary to explore our great city and its surroundings! There's also a laundry room with a convenient drying area.

Our chilling-out room is the perfect place to relax and get together with other guests. You can do a lot of things here or do nothing at all!! There are computers with free internet access, skype and webcam to stay in touch with your friends and family. Also, there's a TV with DVD player and an amazing catalog of hundreds of titles for you to choose and enjoy a movie night (popcorn included!). We have also board games, art and travel books, book exchange area and the comfiest couches to relax after a long day out.

Directions

From Mexico City there are direct buses from International Airport and Northern and Southern bus terminals. Approximate traveling time: 3 hours. Also there are direct buses from and to several cities as San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, etc. Delta and Continental offer direct flights to Queretaro from several US cities.

Once in Queretaro, you may take a cab in the bus station, which costs $38 pesos (about 3.50USD). Buy your ticket at the booth inside the terminal saying your are going to 'Centro Historico'. Once in the cab, show the driver the hostel's direction and he will know where to go exactly. The ride is about 15 minutes only. Once in the hostel you won't need a ride anymore as everything is walking distance from Casa San Gallito.
