Easy recreative bike tour

1. Position

Our bike station is situated in town of Poreč in hotel Diamant in the northern part of Istria. This location has various numbers of possibilities connected to cycling tourism. Istrian attractive landscape provides excellent conditions for development of this type of tourism. At our station you can get the information about every of the existing bike routes we organize as well as the other information about bikes, bike gear etc. Our station is open daily through all the season.

2. Recreative mountainbike routes

Routes we organize leads the leader of the route who is always at your disposal. He is, for your maximum safety, equipped with the first aid kit and mobile phone.

Route 1 Poreč – Višnjan

Course length: cca 41 km
Highest spot: 310 m
Estimated ride time: 2 – 2,5 h
Course difficulty: easy
Stopping point: agrotourism Milena, Bačva

Route 2 Tar – Kaštelir

Course length: cca 48 km
Estimated ride time: 2,5 – 3 h
Course difficulty: medium
Stopping point: konoba Prisadi, Kaštelir

Route 3* Poreč – Novigrad – Turini

Course length: cca 55 km
Estimated ride time: 2h
Course difficulty: easy
Stopping point: agrotourism Sterle, Stancija Drušković

Route 4 Ship Sv ANA Vrsar – Lanterna – bike toure ( 2; 3)

Num. of persons: min 20

Time and starting point: Vrsar, 09:30 h

Time and arrival point: Lanterna, cca 11:10 h – taking the bikes and continuing on wheels. Possibility of choosing 2 or 3 bike routes. Returning to starting point (Lanterna).
Transfer of tourists from hotel to starting and arrival points and hotels – Rivijera Poreč.

3. Bicycle renting

Along organizing routes we also rent top quality SCOTT bikes. When you come, we will adjust our bicycles depending on a client’s body weight and height and personal preferences. All our bikes are rented with a speedometer, saddle bag with inner tube and safety lock. Deposit of 50,00 eu is necessary as well as presentation of your personal document. We offer insurance for a material damage up to 55,00 eu, but not theft. If you wish the insurance, the price is 10,00 eu. Paying is possible in HRK (Croatian kuna).

4. Bike reservation

You can make a reservation over the internet via our e-mail. In the reservation you have to write down your full name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, period of making the reservation for, hotel which you are staying in, bike type, your body weight and height.

5. Recreative route price list

The offer is valid through the whole season. Restaurant offers, lunch packages and bike maps are not included in the route price. Food and drink offers at the stopping points are changable.
Meeting point for all of our routes is our station bike adventures Hauptfeld.
The routes start at 11 h. Every route contains 2-6 short stopping points and one longer ( 45 – 60 minutes ) with a possibility of consuming food. The route guide adapts to the weakest rider in a group. Minimum of persons needed for the route is 6. One guide is enough for the group of max 8-10 persons.
