Merzouga, Morocco Bed & Breakfasts
Located in the centre of Merzouga, the Chez Youssef guest house offers genuine and warm Moroccan hospitality at the very gates of the Moroccan desert, near the border with Algeria. Excellent base for your bivouac trip and excursions to the nearby Berber villages, this family-run lodging ensures guests an unforgettable travelling experience to Morocco.
Inside a traditional Taipa farmhouse, guests will choose from 4 tastefully decorated guest rooms with air-conditioning. The Chez Youssef Guest House also a common lounge with wireless Internet access. Add a gourmet twist to your stay, come and taste the delicious dishes of traditional Moroccan cuisine in the restaurant and sip a scalding mint tea on the garden terrace.
Trips can be arranged directly from the guest house, such as bivouac in the desert, camel rides, and you can also rent an off-road vehicle to explore Lake Merzouga, and see the many fossils and rock paintings of the area.
