The Swiss Alaska is a comfortable 10 minute stroll to the main street in town, but is set in the woods for a more rustic and Alaskan feel.

The Swiss Alaska has 20 rooms, a restaurant, and a bar. The rooms are modern and bright, the food reflects both European and American cuisine, and everyone is welcome!

Rooms/Suites

Our rooms come in many configurations: single rooms with one double bed, double rooms with two beds, and two king rooms with a king sized bed and jacuzzi style tub.
The rooms are modern and comfortable.

All of our rooms are non-smoking, and only two rooms allow pets.

Directions

To travel to Talkeetna you must turn off the George Parks Hwy. at mile 99 and take the Talkeetna spur road for 14 miles. As you come down a long hill at the end of the 14 miles, you will pass the elementary school and the fire department. Take the next right (2nd Street), drive over the railroad tracks and turn left (F. Street) and come 3 blocks. We are on the left.
If you arrive by train ask the station manager to give us a call when you get here and we will come and pick you up.
