Activity/Tour

The Sky Trekking Alaska concept is simple: an aircraft and the attention of a pilot/guide are reserved exclusively for you and your private party while you Sky Trek a route across any region of Alaska. You cross hundreds of miles of territory each day, never crossing the same path while stopping along the way to witness spectacular natural sights, animals or historic landmarks. Sometimes the trip legs are short to allow the majority of a day to partake in an adventure activity such as hiking, fishing, kayaking or bear viewing just to name a few.

Each evening you stay at different wilderness lodges, or inns and B&B's in quaint towns and villages. Only the highest quality accommodations available will do. Lunches are served in the field by your pilot guide while breakfasts and dinners are taken at the lodges and inns.

Day Trips and Tour packages are available from 1-12 days, and each tour package is designed around guest interests and activity levels.

Day Trips and Charters are available from Wasilla , Alaska and Tour Packages can be arranged to cover any region of Alaska and parts of Canada.

Typical Day

Days are filled with adventure as you see and experience Alaska from the air. Daily activities may include Bear viewing in Katmai, Lake Clark National Parks, Kodiak Island and areas of SE Alaska. Fishing in all regions of the state and specializing in the SW Alaska Peninsula region with a focus on Rainbow Trout. Hiking, whale watching, kayaking, beach combing, Native Culture Tours, Historical Landmarks and the Gold Rush History are also featured. Age range, type of group

All ages; families, couples, seniors with grand children. Sky Trekking Alaska's focus is on small group sizes. Day Trips and Tour Packages are designed for 2-3 persons per aircraft. Multiple aircraft are available for groups of more than 3 persons. Common group sizes range from 2- 8. Pilot/guide to guest ration is 2-3 guests per pilot guide. We are here to serve.

Sleeping and meals

Meals; lunches are prepared in the field by your pilot/guide, breakfast and dinners are served at lodges, B&B's and local restaurants. Local seafoods, and quality meats are used along with fresh garden vegetables in most locations.

Overnight Accommodations; Remote WIlderness Lodges, Inns, B&B's, Hotels and cabins are available. Selection of overnight acommodations are determined during the reservation process. Modest to Luxury.

Rates

Rates range from $275 - $1,250.00 per person per day

Day Trips include your own private aircraft, a pilot/guide, meals, activities.

Multi day tours include your own private aircraft reserved just for you with a pilot/guide, all activities, meals, lodging, permit fees, luggage (included in package tours over two days) and fishing equipment.

Not Included: Airfare between your home and Alaska. Staff gratuities for SkyTrekking Alaska, and additional guides.
