If you've been traveling awhile and feel that all campgrounds look alike, Montana Creek Campground will offer a refreshing change of pace… perennial gardens, displays of wildflowers and a variety of berries tucked between birch and spruce trees; view bald eagles fishing for salmon and trout from the creek, grouse and ptarmigan fluttering past, and not to leave out the occasional moose or nosey black bear meandering nearby. Venture onto one of many walking trails lining the creek leading to the mouth of the creek at the Susitna River or up into the mountains.

Portions of the campground are carpeted with lawns; others are beautifully forested, leaving privacy between many of the sites. Several sites are equipped with electric hook-ups; there are also pull-through sites for the larger campers along with smaller sites, accommodating our guests. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring and BBQ grill. The tackle cache and store on the premises sells fishing gear, tackle and licenses, and rents fishing equipment when available. You'll find snacks for your backpack, groceries, ice, firewood, and souvenirs. Montana Creek Campground also has a reputation for cleanliness and friendliness.
