Durras Lake North Holiday Park is one of those 'secret' south coast places you sometimes hear about. It is no secret what you can do there though. Swim, fish, bushwalk, surf, coastwalk, relax, kayak, birdwatch...whew!
Located in the heart of the Murramarang National Park and Batemans Marine Park, Durras North is the perfect choice for your holiday. The pristine Durras Lake and Durras beach are just a short stroll away. Excellent bushwalking with free guide/maps for guests.
Enjoy a relaxed holiday in a stunning natural environment, where kangaroos are guaranteed to be seen. Pebbly Beach is just a 10 minute drive away and Batemans Bay is 20 minutes.
Accommodation offered includes traditional 'retro' cottages, park cabins or camping in the Durras Beach Camping Ground. The owners have tried to keep their park the way holidays used to be. Relaxed and friendly.
But remember, once you have discovered Durras North, you may want to keep it a secret!
Durras North is approximately a 3-4 hour drive from Sydney (280km) or a 2 hour drive from Canberra (150km). It is a 20 minute drive from Batemans Bay (24km).
From Sydney, take the Princes Hwy south to Ulladulla. Continue for another 38kms south and take the Durras Lake North & Depot Beach turn off on your left. Drive along this road (Mt Agony Rd) for 5km then turn to your right for another 3km to the village of Durras North.
From Canberra, take the Kings Highway east to Batemans Bay. Once at Batemans Bay, travel north on the Princes Hwy for 14km. The turnoff to the right is Mt Agony Rd and is clearly marked 'Durras Lake North - Depot Beach'.
(Do not take the South Durras turnoff.) You do not have to pay the National Park entry fee.
Once at Durras North, we are located on the right hand side. You really can't miss us!
