The first and only International youth hostel (YHA) of Luoyang sits in the historical heart of China\'s ancient capital.

Located just 300 metres from the night market and walking streets of old luoyang known as \'Lantern Street\' and opposite QingNianGong Public Square where you can see locals going about their daily life, having fun and dancing until the small hours of the morning. Near us are also many Banks, a Post Office and 3 Supermarkets all within a kilometre.

Our staff are local people from Henan Province that know all the details of getting to and from Luoyang and all around the city. We can speak English which can be a problem sometimes for travelers and can help with all your needs to get around Luoyang and China. We are a real International hostel and pride ourselves in helping travellers to get the best out of their time in Luoyang.

Luoyang Yijia YHA is a great place to relax after a hard day of sightseeing. We have a big screen where you can watch the latest movies and an amazing little kitchen that serves all sorts of Western, Chinese and Korean food. You can also enjoy our bar that\'s never short of a cheap cold beer and can mix up your favourite Liquor or Cocktails.

There is a bus stop less then 100 metres from the hostel which gives you easy access to and from sights as well as the bus and train stations.

We offer tours to famous tourist sights such as: The Shaolin Temple and The Longmen Grottoes we also can provide information on other famous sights close by like The White Horse and Guanlin Temples. (Both not to be missed). We can also organise private transport (just 1hr) in our mini van from our hostel to Shaolin if you desire.

The doors of the hostel close at midnight, but if you ring the bell we will open the door, so you can get in 24 hours a day.

Check out time is 12:00 noon. Reception time is 7am to midnight

As Luoyang is located in Central China the winter is very cold. Not to worry as our hostel has heating and you can use your air-conditioner which is installed in everyroom. There is free hot water for all our guests.

All rooms have airconditioning and windows. Private rooms are additionaly equiped with TV, Kettle, Towel and Ensuite.


----------DIRECTIONS----------

When you get to the railway station (bus station is besides the train station) please take the bus as below:

No.5 or 56 (1RMB/person) and get off at Qingniangong stop. (you will see a park square on your left, this is Qingniangong) The Hostel is located a short walk 50mtrs further up on the right side next to a Church. The \'get-off\' stop is 10 stops from the train station.

If you come from Xi\'an its possible to get the express train in under 2 hours to Luoyang. This train station is not the central station mentioned above as it terminates at Luoyang Longman station. This station is located on the city edge and will take a further 1 hour to travel to our hostel which is located in the centre of Luoyang. From this station you can catch bus 49 (1RMB/person) get off at Xiguan station and transfer to bus 9 get off at Qingniangong Station,then walk 50mtrs further up on the right side next to a Church or take a taxi (30RMB/30mins) to our hostel.

The taxi fee is about 30 RMB from the airport and the fee is about 12-15 RMB from the Central railway/bus station. (5-10mins to arrive)



-------- Please be aware that Yijia International Youth Hostel does not employ touts at the Train and Bus Stations. If you are approached by someone saying they are from Yijia, it is simply not true and are trying to trick you into going to their Chinese Hotel.

Welcome to YiJia Hostel
There are bus stop near the railway stations of LuoYang, if you come here by bus,you can take bus No.56 or No.5, get off in QingNianGong Square, head east and walk the same side with the stop, walking 3 minutes, you can find our hostel easily. If you come by taxi, you can print the address below in Chinese and show to the driver, then arrive to our hostel directly.

【Railway Station】:
From LuoYang Station:
(1) When you get to the railway station (bus station is besides the train station) please take the bus as below:

From Express Train Station:
If you come from Xi'an its possible to get the express train in under 2 hours to Luoyang. This train station is not the central station mentioned above as it terminates at Luoyang Longman station. From here you can catch bus 49 (1RMB/person)to XIGUAN and then change to bus 9, get off at Qingniangong stop.
