Rivendell is a small, old style house located in a quiet neighbourhood. We offer our guests a real home from home with friendly managers on site from 7am until 10pm, a night security guard, and knowledgeable travel company staff on hand to help you to plan your holiday in Namibia, or neighbouring countries.

Rivendell provides en-suite rooms, rooms with shared bathroom facilities, and a fully self-catering flat. We offer our guests fully equipped self-catering facilities or the option of bed & breakfast.

With the central satellite TV lounge, veranda, swimming pool and gardens, Rivendell is a friendly place to stay where guests can mingle and chat about their travels. We have a spacious fully equipped self catering kitchen and also offer guests the option of enjoying a cooked or continental breakfast.

As well as offering staff-operated laundry facilities, guests can make use of internet access and a metered guest phone. We are also happy to offer advice on local restuarants, and to book these for you as well as taxis into town and airport transfers. We have a secure off road parking area.

Directions

Rivendell is located at 40 Beethoven Street, Windhoek West. To reach us from the centre of town, follow John Meinart Street eastwards up the hill past the Namibian newspaper offices. Turn right into Beethoven Street and we are the second house on the right hand side.

Turn right out of the airport onto Sam Nujoma Drive (B6) heading towards Windhoek. Follow this road for 42km, right through town, crossing Independence Ave, Mandume Ndemufayo Ave and Hosea Kutako Drive. Once Hosea Kutako has been crossed, take the second right at the corner shop into Beethoven Street. Follow Beethoven up the hill and straight across John Meinert Road. Rivendell is the second house on the right, number 40 Beethoven Street.
