We are located in Jalan Besar (near Little India), in the city of Singapore.

Travellers Inn is a traditional conservation shophouse converted to a warm, charm and relaxing ambiance for your comfort and pleasure.

It comprises a relaxing common lounge area, with a big screen TV, most of our dorm rooms are of 6 beds, the PERFECT ARRANGEMENT for friends, family and/or small groups. We provide FREE Wireless INTERNET, 24 hours CCTV camera and security door-lock at main entrance.

We are surrounded with various eateries, shopping centres and sport complex with public swimming pool. Guests can begin their day with fresh coffee/tea or chilled out with a refreshing beverage after a long exciting day of exploration in the island.

Additional Information :

o Swimming Pool is a PUBLIC Pool located 2 minutes away across the Hostel.

o We do not accept Singapore Passport Holder / Permanent Resident / S-Pass Holders / Employment Pass / Work Permit

o Hostel reserves the right to decline guests that deemed inappropriate to the Hostel environment.

o Minimum age : 18 years and above

o Maximum stay period per guest per booking : 7 days

o No cooking facility in the Hostel (24 hours eateries within 5 minutes walk)

o Aircondition in Dormitory : Off from 11am to 7pm

o Please indicate Arrival time to Hostel when booking

Check-in time : 2.00pm - 9.00pm latest. Office Closed at 9pm. Strictly NO Check In after 10pm. We do not operate 24 hours. If flight delay and check in after 9pm, please call us before you book to ascertain if we can accommodate your stay. If we can accommdoate, call us from the Singapore Airport so that we estimate you time of arrival to our Hostel and to arrange for someone to check you in at the reception. SGD5 per person is charged for late check in after 12am.

* Check Out time 11.00am latest. Late check out subject to room availability and chargeable at SGD10/- per hour.

All Payments payable in Singapore Dollar - Cash Term Only. Full payment to be made for designated stay period upon check-in.

The Hostel reserves the right to request for partial/full payment for confirmed bookings.

SGD30/- (or other currency equivalent) refundable deposit require (for tag/room/locker keys issued) upon Check-In

Cancellation charges : 1 night full room charge will be imposed for No Show without cancellation notice (minimum 72 hours notice, or within 7 days for group booking from arrival date). 2 nights full charge will be levied for booking with two nights and above. An additional 4% processing fee will be charged on your credit card.

Please call / email if there is a change of arrival time, reservation will be release after 2 hours of check in time or stated time of arrival whichever is earlier.

No refund for cancellation after check in / upon arrival.

Room Information :

2-bedded Mixed Dorm - NOT a private room - there is a room within the room. Curtains are installed to block-off walk path from beds for little privacy.

Private Room with double bed - bedroom is windowless. Toilet and shower are shared facilities located outside bedroom.

4-Bedded Private Room - 1 twin bed with 1 bunk bed. Toilet and shower are shared facilities located outside bedroom.

Directions

We are conveniently located between the two MRT stations - less than 10 minutes from MRT station Lavender station (EastWest lines) and Farrer Park MRT station (NorthEast lines), and 3 minutes to nearest bus stop.

From Changi International Airport
At Airport (T2), take the MRT alight at Tanah Merah and take the East West line towards Joo Koon.

Alight at Lavender MRT Station (EW11), proceed to Exit B and turn left towards Horne Road. Walk on straight till end of Horne Road and you will arrive at Tyrwhitt Road (about 5 minutes walk), where you will see our hostel right infront (opposite the Jalan Besar Stadium coffeeshop).

OR, you can check out the Airport Shuttle Bus at the Airport T1 , T2 and T3. The current charges (as at April 2010) is SGD9 per Adult and SGD6/- per Child. You can check out details at the Ground Transport Desk at the Airport.

From Railway Station
Walk to Woodland Centre Road to take bus No.950, alight at Woodland Avenue 3 (outside Marsiling MRT station). Board the MRT at Marsiling Station (NS8) towards Marina Bay Station. Alight at City Hall Station (NS25) and change to East-West line, ensure the train is towards heading Pasir Ris Station. Alight at Lavender Station (EW11)and take exit B, turn right, and walk towards the "V "Hotels' Food court, walk out of this food court and turning right and walk towards the cross junction of Horne road, From Horne road, walk till end where our Hostel is located.

By Taxi
From Singapore Changi Airport - Estimated fare Charge : SGD25/- depending on the traffic condition and different surcharge(s) during peak hours.

By Car
Depending on the route (Pan Island ExpressWay (PIE), East Coast Pan Island ExpressWay (ECP), Kallang Pan Island ExpressWay (KPE), Eunos Link) you take, approximate time range from 22 minutes to 27 minutes.
