This hostel is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of north Georgia and is 5 miles from the North Carolina line and 13 miles from Tennessee. We are located close to Vogal State Park, national forest, Nantahala National Forest, hiking and biking trails, The appalachian Trail and there is fishing, tubing and rafting galore. People travel from all points to experience the change of seasons and from the south to play in the snow. We are a no frills hostel and our inexpensive rates are such that all people can enjoy their stay. Your pets are welcome.
This hostel has a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooking utensils, plates and silverware. There is a microwave and a coffeepot for your convenience. There is a large open space with two twin bed for guest with sattalite TV, games to play and magazines to read. There are 2 private bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed and sattalite TV. The hostel sleeps 8 people and it is coed. There is a large bath with shower, plenty of towels and washclothes plus sheets and pillowcases. There is an outside sitting area with a gas grill to throw on steaks or hamburgers for a night of mingling with new friends.
One large bedroom with a king size bed for privacy for a couple. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a TV for privacy, as well. There is a let out couch that will sleep 2 people and there are 2 twin beds in the outer room. The hostel has 2500 sq feet of space and is quite comfortable for all that stay here.
This is a no frill hostel that is close to the small town of Blairsville, GA and is mostly for people who just need a quiet clean place to spend the night.
Policies & Restrictions
No smoking inside the hostel. It is a coed hostel and the minimun age for the night is 18 years of age. Pets are welcome (cats must be neutered). No drugs or alcohol on the primises.

$25.00 per night for twin beds per person and $40.00 per night for private bedrooms (couples).
Highway 129 to 325 West. Go west on 325 for one tenth of mile. Turn right on John Smith Road East and the hostel is exactly one mile on left.
