Wimberley is blessed with a location on the banks of Cypress Creek and the Blanco River surrounded by the Texas Hill Country. As a result, there are great outdoor activities nearby.
Shopping
Wimberley is full of unique shops that offer traditional and not-so-traditional art and wares. The first Saturday of each month, March through December, Market Days draws visitors from around the state.
Theatre
Many rural towns had outdoor movie theatres years ago. Wimberley still has one. The Corral Theatre features first run movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can even bring your own chair. If your taste runs to live theatre, try the EmilyAnn Theatre or Wimberley Players for year round theatrical events.
Site-Seeing
For those who just like to walk and see the sites, Wimberley is full of beautiful views and rich history. A pause at the bridge over Cypress Creek or, for the more vigorous, a walk up the steps to the top of Old Baldy are certainly worth the trip.

Take a step back in time to an 1880's Pioneer Town with plenty of activities for the whole family! Wimberley also offers many unique art galleries, including Wimberley Glass Works, with entertaining glass blowing demonstrations seven day a week. Enjoy an afternoon of golf at the 18-Hole Quicksand at Woodcreek Golf Course or a round of disc golf at Circle R Ranch. Get your family photographs taken while cutting your own lavender at one of the local lavender fields. The village of Wimberley offers swimming every day at the historic Blue Hole on Cypress Creek. Cypress Falls Swimming Hole in Woodcreek is a favorite swimming destination for locals and visitors to the Wimberley area. Attention has been given to every detail so that guests of Sinya on Lone Man Creek will take with them long lasting memories and a new found appreciation for a more eco-friendly lifestyle.

Sinya is equipped with a state-of-the-art, energy efficient air-conditioning and heating system providing cooling comfort in the summer and toasty-warmth in the winter.

Located 5.5 miles northeast of the quaint town of Wimberley in the Texas Hill Country, Sinya is situated on 300 ft. of Lone Man Creek, where swimming and catch-and-release fishing are available when the creek is full. The ridge offers some hiking areas and many Native American artifacts have been found on the banks of the creek.

Sinya uses recycled gray water to irrigate its landscaping, all bar soap, liquid soap, detergent, shampoo, hair conditioner, and milk-bath have been specially selected for their quality and are supplied for guests to use at no additional charge. They are free of phosphates, borax, and sodium which can harm the environment.

Complimentary high speed WiFi allows guests to view television or to listen to music on their laptop computer.

The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, toaster-oven, induction cook-top, an electric drip coffee maker, and French Press. There is a propane gas grill in the garden.

Policies & Restrictions

A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome on a case-by-case basis and are $25/dog/night.
1. CHECK-IN time is 3 P.M. CST and CHECK OUT time is 11 A.M. CST. No early check-in or late check-out. An additional fee of $50.00 will be deducted from your damage deposit refund per half-hour you stay after regular checkout time of 11am without prior approval of owner.
2. This is a NON SMOKING tent.
3. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
4. RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A deposit of $200 is required to hold your reservation. Upon your arrival, the reservation deposit converts into a damage deposit and is fully refundable within 24 hours of departure (either by cash, check or refunded back to your credit card), providing the following provisions are met:
a. No damage is done to tent or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in garbage and recycling containers outside, and soiled dishes are placed in the sink. Soiled linens and towels are placed in the bathtub.
d. All keys are left on the hook by the front door.
e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f. No towels or linens are permanently stained, lost or damaged.
5. PAYMENT â€" Full payment of the rental fees is due 14 days before arrival.
6. DATE CHANGES
A reservation can be changed once without penalty providing written notice is sent to, and confirmed by, the property owner no less than two-weeks (14 days) prior to original reservation date.
7. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations that are made more than two weeks (14 days) prior to the arrival date will be refunded their reservation deposit, less 5%, to cover processing fees. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay or that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full rental fee, taxes, and service charge. The $200 damage deposit will be refunded within 24 hours. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately. There are many online travel insurance companies that offer low-cost, competitive prices.
8. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS â€" Monthly renters must cancel ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (30) days prior to check-in.
9. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests staying at Sinya on Lone Man Creek is limited to two (2) persons.
10. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A TWO (2) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY; 3 nights during the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day weekend, Independence day weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, and Christmas
11. INCLUSIVE FEES â€" Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
12. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE â€" While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional charge. Please bring your own beach towels if you decide to swim in the creek or local swimming holes. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the tent.
13. RATE CHANGES â€" Rates subject to change without notice.
14. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS â€" Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
15. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS â€" Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
16. PARKING â€" Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking area only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
17. STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS â€" No refunds will be given for weather such as strong wind, heavy rain, thunder/lightning, hurricanes, hale, sleet, snow or other forms of severe weather such as extreme heat or drought. We recommend you purchase travel insurance separately.
18. This tent is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The tent owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
