Sleeping and meals

Accommodation in the mountain varies depending on which kilimanjaro climbing route you choose. Marangu route is the only route where climbers sleep in Mountain Huts. Rongai route tourists start by camping and last days overnight in Mountain Huts of Kibo and Horombo.

Machame, Umbwe, Lemosho and Shira all have camping sites where travelers sleep in tents.

Restrictions

Pet not allowed, smoking is not recommended.

Price ranges from 1400 US $ per person for 6 days kilimanjaro route of machame, rongai, marangu and umbwe.

Lemosho and Shira need minimum 7 days and price is from 1800 US $ per person.
