Surrounding Area
Everything you might need including shops, markets and supermarkets, ATM, post office and bank, trade center, hospital, pharmacy, bakery, bus and taxi station is within walking distance from the apartments. If you wish to go to the Old Town, get on the local bus that will bring you there in 5-10 minutes. Public transportation is excellent in Dubrovnik. Bus stop is just 1 minute walk from our apartments.
Lapad is a residential suburb of Dubrovnik that lies about 3 km northwest of the Old Town. The interior is mostly green and calm with plenty of attractive sea views and some excellent restaurants. The vast majority of hotels and private accommodation is in Lapad but because it's so residential you don't get the feeling that you're in a tourist ghetto. Most Dubrovnik beaches are in Lapad so no matter where you stay, you'll be within walking distance of the sea. In fact you can walk everywhere in Lapad.
Uvala Lapad is one of the nicest pedestrian areas to walk and enjoy with your family. It is a place to enjoy walks, entertainment, restaurants and coffee shops. Boat excursions to nearby Elafiti Islands are organized directly from closest Lapad Beach dock. Your enjoyable walk will bring you right on the Lapad Bay seaside where you will be surrounded by its numerous pebble and rocky beaches.
Lapad Bay seaside is an ideal place to enjoy unique panoramic views of sunsets and sunrises breathing in mediterranean bucket of sea and herbs.
