Indian Trails is located 35 mintues from the famous Wisconsin Dells and 30 north of Madison the capital city. The area attractions include the Wisconsin River, Devils Lake State Park, National Ice Age Trail, Amish community, two nice golf courses, Canoe & kayak trips on the historic Fox River, Merrimac Car Ferry, Mackenzie Environmental Center, Indian Agency House and Surgeon's Quarters near Portage, the famous Circus World Museum and the International Crane Foundation near Baraboo.

Indian Trails offers seven sleeping cabins to rent. Five of the cabins offer a beautiful view of the north end of the large fishing lake and two overlook the south end of the fishing lake. Each cabin is on a campsite with a cooking grill, fire pit, picnic table, and a fresh water faucet. Each cabin offers the same amenities. You will enjoy a cabin with two double beds, one single bed, a table and benches for your dining pleasure, TV/VCR, DVD Player, microwave, small refrigerator, and heater/air-conditioning. The cabins are 14' x 14' and have a comfortable 6 foot wide covered porch for your relaxation. Cabins are conveniently located near a bathhouse with showers. Cabins sleep five and we prefer that there are only two adults and minor children. You must bring your own pillows, blankets, and bedding.
NEW ADA handicap accessible cabin We are pleased to offer a new larger cabin with a wheelchair ramp. It is located next to the new Totem field ADA compliant bathhouse, making it easier for disabled guests to enjoy the camping experience. This cabin sleeps six and has the same amenities as the other cabins. It also has a nice view of the lake.
All cabins are Non-Smoking. Animals are not allowed in the cabins.

River Trips are available only to Registered Campers: Camp at Indian Trails and take a leisurely paddling trip down the Historic Fox River. Trips depart at Indian Trails where the Fox River meanders through the south end of the campground. Paddle a canoe, solo kayak or tandem kayak on a 1 ½ - 2 hour trip to the DNR landing on the south shore of Swan Lake or a 3 - 4 hour trip to the spot near Portage where in 1673 explorers Jacques Marquette and Louis Joliet made the short portage from the Fox River to the Wisconsin River. The Shuttle service will bring you, your gear and boat, back to Indian Trails. It's a great way to spend quality time with friends and family and get back to nature. Call ahead to reserve your paddling trip when you make your camping reservations.
Indian Trails Campground is easy to get to! We are 1 mile North of Pardeeville on State Highway 22 then 1 mile West on Haynes Road. You have just found your Home Away From Home, Indian Trails Campground. Five State Highways (Highways 16, 22, 33, 44 and 51) plus the I90 - I94 Interstate Highway System are within 15 miles of Indian Trails. Historic Portage is only 9 miles to the West.
