Toubkal Mountain Leaders organize and lead, trekking, climbing and mountain biking around Morocco and especially the Atlas Mountain. We continue to be one of the most respected and active guiding companies in the Atlas Mountain. Since 1989 we have conducted hundreds of expeditions to destinations around the country, and the fact that most of customers trek with us again and again tells us we're doing things right.

We have a wide variety of tours and packages, to a range of destinations, suitable for all ages and abilties provided you have an adventurous spirit! Our core focus is trekking, but we also offer mountain biking, 4WD, camel trekking and cycling tours. We cater for the budget traveller as well as private group charters, in our operational areas.

Your adventure trip is inclusive of your trained guide, meals, accommodation, vehicles, and activity inclusions where stated in the itineraries. We provide adventure tours for all fitness levels and at a variety of accommodation standards, from day tours to 21 day trips and even cheaper adventure travel package deals for extended touring.

Typical Day

Three Valley Trek
Day2: 6 hours walking. Tinghourin/(Tachddirt)-Ikkis-Aguersiwal-Matat-Ait aissa, After breakfast we leave the Imnan valley and head towards the coulorful Azzadene valley passing by several villages and over two passes - Aguersiwal pass at 2100m and Oudit Pass at 2200m Both of which offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. We continue to Ait Aissa village to spend the night in gite,or to Tizi oussem where you can use the Hamam (steam bath). The day is completed with a traditional Berber meal, mint tea and music.

Our treks are customised to be made suitable for all ages and abilties provided you have an adventurous spirit! We have a wide range of customers from the budget traveller to private group charters. Back-packers, family groups,scouts,mountaineers, honey-moon couples etc.

Other Information

Morocco hosts the highest mountains in North Africa.

The highest Peak is Jbel Toubkal at 4167m (13671ft) in south western Morocco, the second is the M'goun at 4071m. Ascents of these summits is one of our popular itineraries.

The Atlas Range separates the Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines from the Sahara Desert and is divided into three separate ranges such The Middle Atlas, The High Atlas and The Anti-Atlas, The population of the Atlas Mountains is mainly made up of Berber Tribes, renowned for their smiles, hospitality and cuisine.
