Surf Lessons

Horseback riding
Ride along the shoreline at sunset crossing Santa Teresa beach until Playa Hermosa.
Malpais Canopy tour
Ride through the forest canopy along a creek, and ride over a canyon, between 11 platforms set high in gigantic trees.
Waterfall Canopy Tour Montezuma:
On this cable system suspended over the forest you will be able to appreciate excellent views of the Pacific Ocean, observe monkeys, birds and the wilderness surrounding the Montezuma river and even see the famous waterfalls and stop for a swim, if you like.
Cabo Blanco Tour
First Absolute Nature Reserve is yet another of Costa Rica's national landmarks wich is of great historical value. Designated foot paths take you through out the reserve and down to the magnificent white sand beaches.
Tortuga Island Tour
World famous for its white sand beaches lined with tall coconut palms Tortuga Island has crystal clear waters with no ocean currents wich makes this the ideal place for beginners and young people alike to swim and practice their snorkeling skills.
Fishing Tour
The main fishing is generally done a short ride along the coast out by the Cabo Blanco Marine Reserve where you will see an abundance of birds and aquatic life.

Directions
By Car: From San Jose, drive to Punterenas and take the car ferry to Paquera. Be sure not to take the ferry to Playa Naranjo. Once off the ferry proceed to follow the signs for Cobano and Mal Pais, passing through the town of Tambor; be sure to watch out for road signs as the route is clearly marked. Once in Cobano drive straight through town and turn left after 1 kilometer, proceeding towards Mal Pias. The road will have turned to dirt. After 8 km (30 min) you will arrive at Mal Pais crossroads, turn right and the Hotel is 800 yards on your left, just after a tiny bridge. Total driving time is approximately 3 hours plus 1 hour on the ferry.
By Bus: Bus to Punterenas and take the Ferry or Lancha to Paquera. You can then either continue by bus to Cobano and Mal Pais or the Hotel can arrange to pick you up at the Paquera dock or in Cobano. Total bus time is approximately 4 hours plus 1 hour on the ferry.
