Achalay is a small hostel with a cool atmosphere located in Bariloche's downtown. We have single, double, triple, and quadruple spacious rooms in a rustic-style house.

The hostel is located in the centre of Bariloche, just three blocks from the main square (Centro Civico) and the Nahuel Huapi Lake, it provides a great option for anyone who wants to be in the heart of town.
The house offers you different places: an open terrace with a beautiful garden where you can relax and make friends, a full equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with TV and DVD player, and a small area where you can share a drink with other guests.
The bed sheets have a high thread count 100 % cotton. In addition laundry service is available at reception.
Every room comes with security lockers and the best beds in town (20cm thick with Sealy inter coil mattresses).
Breakfast is served at any time because we think you deserve to rest if you need it. For breakfast we offer Coffee, tea, chocolate, fruits, cereals, bread, butter, dulce de leche, and home made jam (Rosehip and raspberries). All of these things are included when you book a reservation with us.
Trips, tours, and excursions can also be booked at our reception, so don`t be afraid to ask.
Something very important... our reception works from 8:00 am to midnight let us know if you are arriving at any other time.

From the bus/train station: Take buses #10, 20, 21. Get off at the Centro Civico`s stop, From the corner of Moreno with Morales St. (YPF gas station) walk up over Morales st. two and a half blocks, we are on the left side
Ask the driver for these streets if you have any doubts. It takes between 5 to 10 minutes and costs $6.
Another option is to take a taxi or remis, which costs $30.- and takes approximately 5 min.
From the airport:
Take the bus #72 which boards to the right of the main exit as you leave. You can buy your ticket on board for $6. It takes about 40 minutes. Get of at Moreno St. between Beschtedt and Palacios.
From there, walk three blocks over Moreno st. in the same direction of the bus. Then turn left at the YPF gas station (Morales St.) and walk up two and a half blocks. We are on the left side.
Special shutles take you to downtown for $30 and taxis or remises (privates cars) charge you around $85.
